GETTING STARTED: WHAT SHOULD YOU DO NOW?

Phone Consultation

I am happy to provide an initial 15-minute phone consultation at no charge.

Your Food Journal
If you decide to make an appointment I will send you a Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ) and a 3-Day Food Journal to complete prior to your appointment.

Your First Appointment
The initial consultation usually takes 2 hours, which we can complete in one session, or you can opt to break into two sessions.

During the first half, I will review your NAQ and 3-Day Food Journal while discussing your health goals, aspirations, and any other concerns you may have. Before you leave, I will provide you with a nutritional plan designed specifically for you.

During the second half, I will conduct a functional nutritional assessment. This is a non-invasive exam. Some of the techniques will be familiar to you, like taking your blood pressure and listening to your heart with a stethoscope. Other tests may be new to you.

Among the tests are:
• A zinc taste test
• An ascorbic acid test
• A fatty acid test
• Lowenberg’s test

We'll be examining the health of various systems of your body including:
• digestion
• blood sugar regulation
• mineral balance
• hydration
• the urinary, endocrine, immune, and cardiovascular systems, and your body’s overall systemic ability to efficiently detoxify neurotoxins.

After this portion of the assessment we will fine tune your nutritional plan and supplementation needs in order to further support your body and meet your goals.

Your Second Appointment
An initial progress and follow up meeting is recommended after 3-4 weeks. This usually takes half an hour and allows us to asses your progress, make additional adjustments, and fine tine your health plan.

Follow-Up Meetings
We can schedule as many additional, optional, follow-up meetings as you need or desire to allow us to continue to measure your overall progress and help ensure you stay on track to reach your goals.
